Privacy Policy

The short version

JustQuran collects no personal data whatsoever. There are no accounts, no adverts, no analytics, no tracking, and no crash-reporting services. The app is free and works fully offline.

What stays on your device

The following are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us or anyone else:

• Bookmarks and last reading position
• Display settings (theme, font sizes, translation toggles)
• Any recitation audio you choose to download

Uninstalling the app — or clearing its data — removes all of the above.

Network use

All texts and fonts are bundled with the app. The only network activity is:

• Optional audio downloads — recitation files are fetched only when you tap download. The request carries no account, identifier, or personal information.
• Links you choose to open — the project page, source code, and store links open in your browser and are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.

Hosting

The web version of the app is served by Netlify and GitHub Pages, and the Android app is distributed by Google Play. Like any host, these providers may keep standard server logs under their own privacy policies. We run no analytics of our own and receive no personal data from them.

Data safety (Google Play)

For the purposes of Google Play's Data safety section: JustQuran collects no user data and shares no user data with third parties.

Children

The app contains no advertising, no tracking, and no in-app purchases, and collects no data from anyone, of any age.

Changes & contact

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page before the change takes effect.
